Nootrukku Nooru (English: One Hundred out of One Hundred) is a 1971 Tamil-languagethriller film, directed and written by K. Balachander.[1] It stars Jaishankar and Lakshmi in the lead, with Nagesh, Vijaya Lalitha and Srividya in other pivotal roles.[2][3] The story is about a college professor who is accused by three girls of sexual harassment, just before his marriage.

Plot[edit]
Prakash (Jaishankar), a college professor is accused by three girls, Manjula (Srividya), Stella (Vijaya Lalitha) and Kousalya (Jayakumari) for different reasons, but with the same note that he has sexually harassed them, just before his marriage. His fiancée Lakshmi sets out to investigate along with her younger brother and some of his dutiful students, Ramesh (Nagesh). It is finally revealed that Prakash is innocent and the girls blamed him to escape from their convenience: Manjula blamed as she had a secret crush on Prakash but was rejected, Stella blamed him as she had a lover and was pregnant but too scared to reveal this to her strict father and blames that Prakash was the father of the unborn child and Kousalya unknowingly blamed him thinking that she received a love letter from Prakash (it was sent by Mahesh, one of her classmates).
